“Intentional outreach and engagement to get the “right” results” — I think this a critical point that is so often lost in the discussion regarding diversity and inclusion… the built it and they will come approach clearly isn’t working so let’s be intentional.

We have recently been selected by DC Government & Howard U to run an innovation center and the mayor has been very intentional and direct about the goals of the center.

“The incubator will support Howard’s and the District’s growing technology and innovation startup ecosystem, and create a destination for underrepresented entrepreneurs seeking to transform ideas into viable products and scalable companies,”
